"Good Hair"

If you're a black person, you pretty much know all about the whole debate of hair in the black community. You know that some people are pro-natural while others like perms and weaves. Some people prefer hair down to their behinds, while other like simple, yet chic, pixie cuts. As of late, hair has been a big issue in the black community and many are speaking out on it. You have regular people, actresses, comedians, models, talk show hosts, and soo many others buzzing about hair. Check under the hood why this dead protein is so important to some.

In an episode of "The Tyra Show," on a journey to answer the questions, "What is good hair?", Tyra invites three ladies to come in and give their take on african american hair to a young woman who is thinking about going natural. The episode is really something to watch if you want the views of three different women. Peep part one below. If you want to watch the rest, scroll through the related videos.

Aside from Tyra, comedian Chris Rock also embarks on a world journey to answer his daughter's question, "Daddy, how come I don't have good hair?". He goes throughout the black community and makes a trip to India to figure out the answer to this question. In my opinion, I think this is going to be a good documentary for black women everywhere, and will be planning on seeing it when it hits theaters. Check out the official website for the movie "Good Hair" to find out a little more information.
